"Earth, Wind and Car Fire"
What started out as 10-min anecdote for a storytelling showcase back in 2017 has morphed into an hour-long one-woman journey, exploring my life as I navigate the complexities of love, sexuality and race.
I further developed this piece to perform at the 2025 Black Queer Studies 25th Anniversary Conference in Chapel Hill. The reception was so outstanding that I continued this adventure with a successful run in The 2025 Hollywood Fringe Festival, in the inagural Un-Erasable Solo Festival and now in the Binge Fringe Festival of Free Theatre at the historic Santa Monica Playhouse.
